D = 22 – 41 ∙ 1 = 4 – 4 = 0
x = – b / (2a)
x1 = x2 = – 2 / 2 = -1
x2 + 2x + 1 = (x + 1) ∙ (x + 1) = (x + 1)2
x ∙ (x + 1)2 = 6 ∙ (x + 1)
x ∙ (x + 1)2 – 6 ∙ (x + 1) = 0
(x + 1) ∙ (x(x + 1) – 6) = 0
(x + 1) ∙ (x2 + x – 6) = 0
1) x + 1 = 0
x1 = -1
2) x2 + x – 6 = 0
D = 12 – 4 ∙ 1 ∙ (-6) = 1 + 24 = 25

x = (- b ± √D) / (2a)
